Privacy Policy

Last updated 8 July 2026 · How we handle your data and your customers' data.

This is a plain-English summary written as a starting template. Have your solicitor review and adapt it before you publish, it isn't legal advice.

1. Who we are

Aurian ("we", "us", "our") provides an AI agent that handles enquiries, quotes, bookings and invoicing on behalf of tradespeople. We are the data controller for information about you, our customer, and a data processor for the information you and your customers exchange through the service.

2. What we collect

  • Your account details: name, business name, email, phone number and billing information.
  • Your rates and settings: the labour rates, materials and preferences you give Aurian so it can quote for you.
  • Messages we handle: the WhatsApp, email and call content Aurian processes to reply, quote, book and chase, including any voice notes and photos your customers send.
  • Usage data: how you use the dashboard, so we can keep the service working and improve it.

3. How we use it

We use your data to run the service you've asked for: answering enquiries, drafting quotes, booking jobs, chasing invoices, taking payment for your subscription, and giving you support. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your customers' messages to train models for anyone other than you without your explicit consent.

4. Who we share it with

We share data only with the suppliers who help us deliver the service, for example messaging providers, cloud hosting, payment processors and the AI models that power the agent. Each is bound to handle it securely and only on our instructions. We may disclose data where the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your account and job data for as long as you're a customer, and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal and accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete your data at any time, subject to those obligations.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to how we use it. To exercise any of these, email hello@aurian.app. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
